Course Information

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for personnel involved in frontline guarding or related work. It aims to enhance their initiative and confidence and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can deal with more complex, dynamic, and challenging guarding duties both individually and as part of a team.

Joining Criteria

  • Participants must have completed HKIOS’s “Guarding Operation (Level 2) Online” course.

Assessment

Assessment will take place at course-end via:
  • A multiple-choice examination; and
  • Integrated Scenario-based Exercises.

Certification

Participants who meet the following criteria will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion”.

  • Attain 100% attendance in the course; and
  • Achieve 62% or above in the examination; and
  • Achieve 62% or above in the integrated scenario-based exercises.

Learning Outcome 

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the knowledge acquired in the course to daily duties in a legal and professional manner.
  • Perform guarding duties effectively as an individual and with a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and coordinate actions.
  • Handle emergencies and major incidents effectively and collaborate with emergency services professionally.
